Wooden Stool Part 1

Hello once again readers!

Here is one of my latest and successful projects so far! A while ago I set upon myself the task of making a wooden stool and what do ya know, I did it!
Enjoy the going through the photos and again stay tuned for Part 2 :)

Here we go.....

After constructing the basic frame....

....I then added planks of the top
and around the sides
Before screwing the pieces of the frame together, I used
a very useful little drill peice called a 'Countersink'
for drilling wholes into the frame for the screws

Then I filled in the holes/gaps with Wood Filler

After the wood filler had dried I sanded it
down to create a smoother suface
And that's it....

....for now

Super - Scriptures!

Hey Everyone!,

Sorry for not posting anything for a loooooong while :/ Things have been rather busy for me lately. Last Spring I started a job as a support worker at a nearby care home, and last summer I started driving lessons!
Thought I just do a quick post on some pictures I've been able to make with only a few apps on my phone. I've found Pictures of my favourite 'Marvel' and 'DC' heroes and (being a Christian and reading The Bible) added some Scriptures that go with their characters. Now, it may sound strange to some of you, but I believe that 'We Christians' can be in some way 'Superheroes'. Now we may not have the ability to....Fly, Run as fast as the speed of sound, Shoot lazers, Have suits that make us shrink to the size of ants, Lift cars or Have bullet proof shields....BUT....WE CAN make a difference, a change and maybe not save the WORLD, but rather save the souls of MANKIND with the name, and the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST!!
Philippians 4:13   Romans 10:13-14

Hope you enjoy going through the photos and God Bless :)

Sorry! That's supposed to be 1 John 1:7

Oops! forgot to put the verse with the
picture, but its Ephesians 6:17

Oh, and here's a necklace I recently
made for myself

Star Spangled Shield Part 2

 Sup Supers!, I come!!!

Here is part two of the 'Star Spangled Shield'. Now drawing the design and attaching the handle were both slightly difficult, but when it came to painting the shield, things became a lot more challenging. However I slowly made progress taking everything one step at a time and eventually I had completed the new project.

Once again, enjoy the pictures and ALL THE BEST!

Star Spangled Shield Part 1

I sooo wish I had his job!

Hey there Soldiers, Patriots and Superheroes,

After making Cap's shields from 'The Avengers' and 'The Winter Soldier' I wanted to try and make Cap's very first shield. I got the idea after trying to think what I should do with a spare piece from the wooden sword box. So after studying the size and length of the piece I thought 'Hey' why don't I make a medieval shape shield. Then I thought a little more and thought 'HEY' why I don't I make Cap's first shield! This will be a two part post so stayed tuned for the next one. Enjoy the photos!

Always Avenging

I wish I had my own museum too!
So to start with I drew out my shape on the piece of wood

Then I tried drawing where I
wanted the stripes to be

And then stared jigsawing it out
Almost there...

Then after cutting it out I drew
the new design I had in mind

Then penned it in
Using hard board, tape and screws
I constructed the handle

And there we have it...

...For now.
